Area Musicians Perform

in Karl King Honor Band

St. Edmond HS, Fort Dodge, was the site for the annual Karl King Honor Band Festival. Performing in concert Saturday, January 23, were nearly 200 “Best of the Best” 6th & 7th grade band musicians for a packed audience. Selected to play in this year’s bands from SW-G were 6th graders Haley Severeid, clarinet; Aaliyah Scott, trumpet; and Jack Mumper, percussion. In 7th grade band were Emma Whalen, trumpet; Brittany Davey, clarinet; and Megan Snyder, alto sax, pictured above. Their director is Dave Swaroff.
